Anuradha Vikram is the Los Angeles-based author of Decolonizing Culture. She has guest-curated exhibitions for institutions including the Craft Contemporary (formerly CAFAM), the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Mills College Art Museum, and the DeYoung Museum Artist Studio; held curatorial positions at 18th Street Arts Center, UC Berkeley, Headlands Center for the Arts, Aicon Gallery, and the Richmond Art Center; and worked in the studio of Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. She has published work in ARTnews, The Brooklyn Rail, Leonardo, KCET Artbound, Artillery, Hyperallergic, Daily Serving, and the SFMoMA blog OPEN SPACE, in addition to writing numerous monographic essays. Vikram holds an MA in Curatorial Practice from CCA and a BS in Studio Art from NYU. She is on the faculty of UCLA, USC Roski School of Art and Design, and Otis College of Art and Design; a member of the Editorial Board of X-TRA; and an editor for X Topics, a subsidiary of X Aritsts’ Books. @curativeprojects
